Ok guys so I kind of lost interest in Lock and Key. It just was not doing it for me. Does that ever happen to you? You think a books pretty good but then you just don't pick it up again and you lose complete interest. Well anyways, that's what happened to me with this book. It wasn't bad it just wasn't for me. I would still recommend reading it if it's up you alley and it seems interesting to you.
I have taken a turn and am starting a new book that I am sure most of you have heard of, The Great Gatsby. I gained interest when I watched the movie over this SUPER long 10 day weekend that magically appeared into our arms. Wasn't that something. So, getting back to the book, I've recently started reading it and the author, Scott Fitzgerald writes in a bit of a different way. Since it is set around the 1920's they talk and describe things a little differently. So far it is different to anything I have yet to read.
I am not too far into it yet but will be reading more now that we are back on our routine schedules. I liked the movie well enough, although I must admit, there was a lot of drugs and alcohol among other things. Have any of you seen, The Great Gatsby? Apparently there are two movie versions so I am going to watch the older one after I read the book and compare the two movies. Happy reading everyone!

Great job with this post Abigail!! I love how you used a lot of your own voice and asked the reader questions to ask themselves. It really makes you think and that's what is so engaging about you post. I also love how your personality shined through- getting off track and then back on track is something you would do and it's amazing to see that show in your writing! Nice work Abigail! Keep it up (:
